Missouri Native Grassland Lifetime Achievement Award Nominations Due February 20

The Native Grassland Summit Planning Committee is now accepting nominations for a Lifetime
Achievement Award to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions for the
cause of prairies, prairie flora and fauna and/or expanding native grassland plantings in
Missouri. To nominate someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the cause of
native grasslands, please send requested information to below to the email address below.

All nominations must be received by the Awards Committee by midnight, February 20, 2024.
The award will be presented during the Native Grassland Summit evening dinner on April 9,
2024, at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City. Based on nomination submissions the
Committee may, at its discretion, present more than one award.

Nomination Minimum Requirements
When making your nomination, please provide information describing how the nominee meets
the following award criteria. Where possible provide examples.
1. Demonstrated contribution to the cause of native grasslands at a local, regional, or state
level.
2. Demonstrated qualities (attitude, support provided, innovation, initiative, or obstacles
which the nominee may have had to overcome) to achieve their outcomes for Missouri’s
native grasslands.
3. As applicable, please provide professional accomplishments, publications, etc.
