MPF’s conservation success has been driven by you—our generous supporters. Your financial contributions have helped protect some of the most beautiful and biologically significant prairies remaining in North America. We invite you to be a part of our 60th anniversary campaign to protect prairies now and for many years to come.

Our goal is to raise $2,000,000 by the end of 2026 in recognition of our 60th anniversary. Here’s how, with your support, we will attain this ambitious and worthy goal:
• Donations of any amount from MPF supporters like you totaling $1,000,000 will be matched by a generous gift of $1,000,000 from the Susan Lordi Marker and Dennis Marker Family.
• Individual contributions will be used to fund ongoing work to protect prairies and other native grasslands. Unrestricted gifts give MPF the flexibility to direct funds where needed most—for land acquisition, prairie stewardship, prairie outreach and education, and prairie research; promotion of native landscaping; and advocacy for early detection and control of invasive plants.
• The match gift from the Marker Family is future-focused and will be restricted to MPF’s permanent endowment and long-term prairie stewardship funds to safeguard our work far into the future.
