Join James Faupel, Director of Horticulture at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum (BCA), for a walking tour exploring the formal horticultural garden space of the arboretum, Wildwood Valley. From meadow to forest, this tour will explore the native plants used in this formal landscape and discuss the natural history of BCA and St. Louis City. The tour will highlight the value of using native plants in the urban landscape and their impact on wildlife. Much of the tour is on paved pathways but be prepared to walk on uneven terrain with moderate slopes in some areas. Advance registration is required. Maximum 20 participants.
Upon arrival to 4947 W. Florissant Ave, a greeter will give parking and meeting instructions.
