Missouri Prairie Foundation Technical Advisor, retired grassland biologist, and cattle producer Steve Clubine will lead tours, free and open to the public, of his native prairie grass pastures at his farm near Clinton, MO and provide information on establishing and maintaining native forage for livestock. Pastures composed of native grasses and wildflowers provide not only drought-tolerant and nutritious forage for cattle, but also provide habitat for quail and other grassland birds, filter and absorb rainwater, prevent erosion, and store carbon in the soil.
Each walking tour is limited to a maximum of 25 people. Directions will be sent to registrants prior to the tour.
