What would the tallgrass prairies of the frontier have looked like when George Washington Carver was growing up? This virtual program will give you a look at the plants and animals that make up the native grasslands of the Missouri frontier. You will also learn about the locations of existing prairies that are managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Prairie Foundation.
