Columbia Native Plant Sale – Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center®
September 6 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Missouri Prairie Foundation will hold a native plant sale organized in partnership with Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center®, 3101 Bass Pro Dr., Columbia, MO 65202 on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Vendors include: Claire’s Garden, Gaylena’s Garden, Grindstone Wildflowers (SunRise Gardens), Hawthorn Chapter of MONPS, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, and Ozark Soul.
Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Shoppers may begin browsing product selections, making purchases, and picking up pre-orders from each vendor at the advertised start time. “Early birds” will be asked to wait until the advertised start time to begin shopping.
Shoppers can also pre-order plants and have their orders ready for pick up at the event. The following vendors are accepting pre-orders. When placing your pre-orders, please include your phone number and note that the order is for the Columbia Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center® on September 6:
Grindstone Wildflowers (SunRise Gardens)– Find available plants online at https://sunrisegardens.net/
Missouri Wildflowers Nursery– Order by calling 573-496-3492, by email at mowldflrs@socket.net, or online http://mowildflowers.net/. See http://mowildflowers.net for a plant list. Orders must be placed no later than midnight on Tuesday, September 2.
Ozark Soul– Order via website (preferred): https://preorder.ozarksoul.com or phone: 816-809-4062. Please visit https://ozarksoul.com/availability for current availability. Orders must be placed no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3.
Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own crates or boxes for transporting their purchased plants home. Volunteers may be available to load plants into vehicles for those needing assistance. Vendors will donate a portion of their sale proceeds to benefit the conservation work of the Missouri Prairie Foundation.
