Girl Scouts Prairie Day – Carver Prairie

Join us and our friends at the Missouri Prairie Foundation to get hands-on knowledge of prairies and their conservation. This “Bio Blitz” day includes learning about maps, practicing nature journaling, creating prairie artwork, identifying plants and animals, and more!

Girls will even have the option to pack a sack lunch and participate in a picnic on the prairie following the program. Girls will receive a fun patch. No Tagalongs.

Biology on the Prairie
Saturday April 9, 1:00pm-2:30pm
Grade Level(s): Cadette, Senior, Ambassador

Join us and our friends at Missouri Prairie Foundation to explore prairies and prairie conservation. While out on the prairie, girls will work towards earning their nature badges. Learn about maps, practice nature journaling, create prairie artwork, identify plants and animals, and more at this one-of-a-kind event.

Please bring a full water bottle. Girls are welcome to arrive early and bring a sack lunch for a picnic on the prairie at noon! A fun patch is included
with registration. No Tagalongs.
