Learn how three different Grow Native! Native Gardens of Excellence (GOE) employ practices and plants to redirect and sequester rainwater, reduce erosion, and create moisture-preserving habitat. Representatives familiar with the vision, construction, and maintenance of each GOE will provide a brief history of their sites and highlight relevant features, followed by an open question and answer session. Grow Native! GOE are located in a variety of settings ranging from multi-acre plantings associated with commercial properties; formal, urban gardens; and even small community plots. We are excited to provide perspectives from a variety of GOE in Missouri, including the Loose Park Native Plant Demonstration Gardens in Kansas City, the Lincoln University Native Plant Outdoor Laboratory in Jefferson City, and the Watershed Center Rain Garden in Springfield.

This free webinar, to be held via Zoom, will include a presentation and a live question-and-answer session. The webinar will be recorded, with a link to the recording sent to all registrants and posted to the MPF YouTube channel.

Cost: Free. 1 GNPCP CEU. Register below.
