Expert woodworkers, Lynn and Mike include photos of their beautiful tables and many other fine woodworking pieces in the presentation.

He worked at  Louisiana Pacific Corporation in Alabama before becoming a Field Forester for the Missouri Department of Conservation in New Madrid and Ava. Later he was the Harvesting and Watershed Specialist, Wood Products Specialist, and Forestry State Land Program Leader for MDC, working on state-wide assignments from Jefferson City. Mike Hoffmann received a BS in Forest Management from the University of Missouri in 1980 and worked 34 years as a forester for the Missouri Department of Conservation in Blue Springs, Piedmont, Branson, Sullivan, and Jefferson City. He retired in 2015 as the Forest Management Chief and worked two years as the Executive Director of the Forest & Woodland Association of Missouri. Mike has always loved wood and woodworking and now has a hobby business making cutting boards, decorative boxes, wine glass caddies, beer and whiskey flights, cheese slicers and various other wood items, which he and his wife sell at local farmers markets. When not woodworking, Mike spends time fishing, hiking, playing with his four grandkids, gardening and doing yardwork.
